Dr. Chelsea Robinson

Chiropractic Physician, practice owner

Dr. Chelsea Robinson, formerly known as Dr. Vallario, leads Athlete Recovery & Chiropractic Health as the principal Chiropractic Physician and original owner. Established in 2018 in Rock Hill, her practice embodies a commitment to fostering a welcoming environment centered on sports and family-oriented chiropractic care, functional movement, as well as injury recovery and prevention.

Her affinity for chiropractic care dates to her teenage years as an active athlete growing up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. She grappled with severe shin splints and debilitating knee pain that threatened her athletic pursuits. Following countless attempts by conventional medicine to alleviate her symptoms, she found solace and resolution through the biomechanical and hands-on approach of chiropractic treatment. This transformative experience ignited her passion for chiropractic care, compelling her to embark on a career dedicated to enhancing the health and performance of other athletes.

Dr. Robinson pursued her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Human Physiology at the University of North Carolina – Charlotte in an accelerated three-year timeframe. Subsequently, she embarked on her Doctorate program in St. Louis, Missouri, where she obtained both a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Life Science and a Doctorate degree in Chiropractic from Logan University.

Outside of the office, she has continued her education both locally and internationally, training and treating around the globe alongside some of the best in sports medicine. She has been fortunate to work with athletes from the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies, professional climbers and dancers as well as providing care as the team doctor for high school and collegiate level baseball, volleyball and rugby. Traveling as far as Italy and France as a member of FICS, the Federation of International Chiropractic of Sports, she continues to work towards her International Chiropractic Sports Certification and train with other sports chiros from Australia, Europe, Canada, Asia and South America.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Robinson cherishes spending quality time with her husband and two dogs. She and her husband love to travel, SCUBA dive, sail, and ski. Closer to home, they enjoy activities such as camping, hiking, water sports, cooking, yoga, and running. Their favorite activity of all is playing with their Chocolate Lab and mini Bernedoodle.

Driven by her personal journey and fueled by a deep desire to serve her community in the Carolinas, Dr. Robinson is committed to delivering unparalleled proactive healthcare while keeping quality time with her family a top priority.
